Customers Feedback commenting on their WindSheer product. Dear WindSheer, Thought I’d drop you a line praising the value of your Force Six Jersey. While crewing on a commercial cray boat on the rugged Waiarapa coast we had the misfortune to be capsized by a rogue wave. I was trapped for some considerable time under the boat but after swimming out I had to discard my wet weather gear and cling to the twin outboards of our alloy cat. We spent around an hour and a half in the water and conditions worsened with a southeasterly wind and rain. My jersey kept me in good nick protecting me from hypothermia. I had to take it off with the upturned boat 70 odd metres off shore as I didn’t want to be wearing it for any final swim but luck was with us and I drifted right to shore.

My luck continued when kind locals found my prized jersey on the beach, and washed and returned it to me. It now has a couple of small holes and is flecked with fine seaweed that is proving impossible to remove but it is still a warm and wonderful garment. Murray Brown, Masterton, New Zealand
Dear Mr Jeanes, I was lucky enough to win a WindSheer Force 2 at a Tuna Conference in Tauranga. I am really enjoying it and the garment performed well at the cold, wet Bledisloe Cup. It’s a fantastic garment. Christopher Dewees, USA
Dear Fred, I found the Windsheer excellent value in my job as a shift worker in the Marlborough Sounds for salmon. We live on the farm with the salmon for 7 days and are often out all hours of the night in the bloody southerlies looking for predators. Very impressed with the warmth, style and comfort of the Windsheer. Bob Stafford, Blenheim, New Zealand
Dear Sir, I’m writing firstly to thank you for the two Windsheer garments we purchased last year. I worked outdoors in Scotland in their last winter and wore your jersey every day I was there, washing it when necessary, at night, drying overnight, and on again by morning. I have had a lot of comments about the garment in Scotland where I worked. Greg Ramsay, South Otago Scanning, Owaka, New Zealand |
